They said that not having a plan can be the best plan of all. Its a cliche but true. The summer heat is on and my friends are excited to be on the beach and experienced the WILD BEACH WAVES! so on March 10-11 we officially open the 2012 summer season at Tingko Beach, Alcoy,Cebu,Philippines.

Tingko Beach is a great gateway located at Daan Lungsod in Alcoy! Its a 3-4 hours ride from Metropolis Cebu. It has a white ( hmmmm I think.) sand with a crystal clear beach water. The shore line is being naturally decorated with palm trees and a limestone cliffs! Some cottages are Unique for it is situated above the limestone cliffs.The beach can be crowded during the weekends! We can a test to that because we went there on a Saturday and Sunday. 

Evening of March 10 ,2012 Saturday...

Upon our arrival we had a hard time finding a place to stay overnight because almost all cottages were occupied by locals, city folks ( that includes us ha-ha-ha) and foreigners. We were all hungry since we left the city at around 6:00pm and so 3 - 4 hours ride would be very long for us!

A very lucky group indeed! We found ourselves in that small nipa hut like cottage that served us as our home during the overnight stay!

The Wild beach waves were calling and seems dragging us to the water but first thing on our minds at that time was to satisfy our stomach! The eight minds agreed to have an evening meal first! We were all satisfied except for one who is allergic to pork and Jelai had no choice to eat fruits along with rice ( we were worried ).

At last our body felt the beach water right after our meal! Ryan went willingly with me to the beach itself. We were the first two who embraced it! As soon as you get on the water you can really feel the waves that touches your body and its coolness! Apparently, all my friends followed us in the water.The waves at the night are so strong that the water could almost moves us toward the shore, indication on how strong the waves really went.

Fast Forward to March 11, 2012. I had a very deep yet so short sleep inside our cottage and so as my Friends. We woke up very tired form last night drinking, swimming and playing sessions! That morning also I felt like that my body is about to give up after lying on the floor made of bamboo stick ( ha-ha-ha-ha-)

The morning breeze could not stop us to take pictures of each other. Since we arrive late evening, that morning was the right time to capture Alcoy with sunlight!  More Walking around by the shore and we enjoy it a lot.

Fast Forward again this time with bullets on what we did that morning (highlight,.ha-ha-ha-)

• food... of course satisfying our stomach was our priority 
• Beach water, We felt again its coolness and its waves but this time with the presence of the mighty sun!

• Allergies, yes I had an allergies to a certain fish that served us as our lunch. 

And on a final note I would like to echoed my status on Facebook, All in all I wouldn't call it a bad outing. It was a very good with true friends. Alcoy is a blast! 

Meet Nhick, Jelai, Gervy, Jake,Ryan, Mike and Anthony. We all enjoy each others company. And it was much fun being with them if they are drunk ( ha-ha-ha-ha). Nhick is a Electrical Engineer/call center agent/model/photographer, Jelai is a Chemist who love to pose in front the camera, Jake is callcenter agent/a very shy type guy, Gervy is our singer ( you know what I meant), Mike is a nurse/callcenter agent same as anthony and Ryan is of course a HRM stud :)

Lastly I would like to leave you with this quote. Don't walk in font of me; I may not follow. Don't walk behind me: I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend!

My 2011 Top 20 best twitter account (Not to include the celebrities)

I joined in this tweeting world last 2008. But you see I'm not active on this micro blogging not until April 2011 for the reason that I can't update it anymore. I have so many accounts in networking sites; I have two accounts on now defunct friendster.com ( which I rarely open it and thank God that its owner already  demolished that site.. ha-ha! ) , three accounts on Multiply.com , three accounts on blogger.com , one account on Facebook.com and etc. I started to update my twitter account when these social networking sites mention above became too boring for me. So boooo! I’m tweeting with the username akolasalista, following and being followed. Yeah, recently I have 17, 568 tweets to date, I follow 344 people (celebrities and ordinary people alike) and 653 follows me (well I’m not a celebrity to have millions).

Every End of the Year I am fond of listing my top contacts in multiply .com. I first did this listing last 2008 when I listed my top 20 contacts at my account in multiply and many have responded. Well apparently I’m an Active user of multiply at that time. 

This 2011 since I’m active in twitter.com than any networking sites, I decided to list my top 20 best twitter account that I follow. I spent one day and a half to think of criteria to this.  The Criteria are as follows:

1. Display Pictures: Well to prove that it’s really an authentic account not a poser, DP or Display Pictures must be real and attractive ( you know what I meant ha-ha-ha).Apparently and I’m certain, that is the main reason why people follow you, because of your DP or Display Pictures.
2. Number Of followers: It’s really an achievement if you are not celebrities yet you manage to gain followers.
3. Attitude : Won’t explain this further. Self Explanatory (ha-ha-ha-ha-ha)
4. Tweets : Your tweets also help you gain follower/followers. Your tweet defines who you are
5. Frequency: How frequent or active you are in updating your tweets.

I must say it is funny,and interesting. Currently it has 683 900 hits and counting still.

2011 is almost over. Few Days from now we will be now welcoming the end of the world (ha-ha-ha-) like in the song 2012, another year for all of us. Another Chapter that will be unfolding but we really don't know what 2012 has in store for all of us, humans. I am certain that it's not the end of the world. New Year for me well in fact a transition to a new beginning! Para po sa lahat, hindi po lingid sa ating kaalaman ang nangyari sa Mindanao partukular sa Iligan at Cagayan de oro noong nakaraang Sabado Desymbre  17 taon dalawang libo at labing isa, Sinalanta ng bagyong Sendong ang kabisaya-an at ang MIndanao at nag dulot ng baha sa nasabing lugar. Marami po ang nawalan ng tirahan, marami po ang nawalan ng hanap buhay at marami din po ang namatay. Yan po ang dulot na walang humpay na ulan dala ng bagyong sendong.

Sa mga pangyayaring ito, hindi maiiwasan ang mag tanong na ano kayang gagawin ni Pangulo Binigno “noy-noy” Aqunio. Ano kaya ang mga plano niya noong kasag-sagan ng bagyong sendong. Saan po bah siya. Sino ang kasama niya.

Napag-alaman po sa isang tweet ng actress na si Valerie Conception na andoon po siya kasama si Pangulo sa isang party ng mga PSG sa Malacanang at masayang nakikiparty sa kasagsagan ng bagyong Sendong. .

Maraming nagalit, maraming bumatikos kay Pangulong Aquino dahil umanoy nakuha pa ng Pangulo na dumalo sa party habang ang kabisaya-an at Mindanao ay sinasalanta ng bagyong sendong. Maraming mga kuro-kuro, marami ng nakisawsaw sa isang tweet ng aktres.

Ito tayo, wala tayong alam kundi mag-sisihan, hahanap tao nga taong mapagbubuntungan ng galit. Sa sa pagkakataon na ito si Pangulo Noy-Noy at ang mga Aqunio dahi lang sa isang tweet ng aktres tungol sa pag dalo ni Pangulo sa isang PSG party.

3. Ano kaya ang gusto ng ilang tao, si Pangulo mismo ang Lulusong ng baha, siya ang mag rescue at siya din ang mamahagi ng Relief good?

4. Kahit sino din naman ang Pangulo ng Pilipinas, binabatikos nito.  Hinahanap ng mali.

5. Hindi sulosyon ang magsisihan, tumulong na lang

Hindi po ako taga Iligan at Hindi po ako taga Cagayan de Oro, Pero Bilang Pilipino, may responsibilidad akong para tumulong. Yan na lang sana ang ating magagawa! Ang magsisihan ay walang mabuting maiidulot. Hindi po ako Pro-Aqunio o Anti-Aquino.  Alam natin na maraming nawalan ng tirahan, maraming nawalan ng hanap buhay at maraming namatay. Tama po, mahirrap po na tangapin ang lahat.  Pero sana naman yong mga tao hwag ng dagdagan ang hirap na dinadaranas nila ngayon. TUMULONG NA LANG TAYO BILANG ISA DIN PILIPINO.

Sad December

Good Evening, Today is December 19, 2011 at exactly 11:24pm

Philippines were hit again by flood brought about by the typhoon named Sendong. This time it hit Mindanao area specifically Iligan and Cagayan De Oro (CDO). The Two cities were the most affected killing more than 600 people. The flood hit mid midnight and it didn't spare anyone. Young and adults, all were worst affected by the flood.

Try to picture this out- the flood reached the second floor of the tallest building there. Imagine how struggling could that it be to the people of Iligan and CDO. PAGASA (weather observatory in the Philippines ) said that the rain fall that fell during that night was equivalent to a one month rain, so what do you expect- heavy rainfall that resulting in FLOODING. Certainly, people were not ready for that sad event. No one ever expected it until it happened. It was so fast; the water level rises so quickly that our brothers and sisters could not think properly were to go and sought for help. Though there were rescuers at that time but the greatest enemy was a strong current pushing at them. 

Two days after the flood swept Mindanao, the damages brought by sendong are very evident. Sad thing was, lots of lives were lost and we can not change that. It's a natural disaster and there's nothing we can do but to move on. 

As a Filipino Citizen we all have the duties and responsibilities to help our brothers and sisters affected by sendong.Reach out and help! 

Lets all pray to the Almighty that everything will be okay and safe. Iligan and CDO will rebuild in God's time and in his way. 

Most importantly, never underestimate Mother Nature.  Take good Care of her or else...

Versus The Da Vinci Code

The New York Daily News describes the book as “one hell of the read…”.The New York times hailed the book as breath taking : “Not since the advent of Harry Potter has the author so flagrantly delighted in leading readers on a breathless chase’’.

It’s almost a decade since the first publication of the Da Vinci code, 2003 to be exact but I don’t have any interest of this book not until this year 2011.  Well apparently I was force to read it because for almost four months now, I don’t have any means to entertain my self to fight this boredom in the absence of the idiot box and internet connection. I’m back to basic-BOOKS!

I turned into the Number one New York Times Best Seller and Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.  So the book has 104 chapters. It mainly talks about the Holy Grail, Relationship of Jesus Christ to Mary Magdalene, The Priory of Sion, Opus dei and of course the Catholic Church. Obviously the Da Vinci code was against the Catholic Church, but I don’t think I have to summarize the story. I am certain that you all have read the book religiously.  Though the main Character like Robert Langdon, Sophia Nevue came from the imagination of the author but the settings where the story happens, the places, paintings that are mentioned in some chapters, architectures, etc are all facts. Some Chapters for me was a sort of blasphemy to Jesus Christ and also to the Catholic Church.   As I reached chapter 61 to 83 specifically I talks about Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, Particularly their true intimate relationship to each other. And I would like echo on what I have just said that Da Vinci code was clearly against some of the teachings of the Catholic Church.

I’m certain that this book is a fiction. If its not, the book should have been in the general information section at the book store where I bought it. As you can see at the spine of the book it is categorized as fiction.  A fiction as we defined it as  a  form of any narrative or informative work that deals, in part or in whole, with information or events that are not factual, but rather, imaginary—that is, invented by the author.   So it’s clearly a product of Brown’s imagination and its quest in finding the True Nature of the HOLY GRAIL. This is the other story of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene opposite to the bible and to the Catholic Church. I am certain that this is a Novel and a fiction. NO more, no less.
